This year's Sunflower Experience is scheduled to be open approximately July 25th - August 9th, 2026. We will update dates when the bloom period is becoming more apparent. Below is a list of special events we have planned in this time period. Special event tickets are required to be purchased ahead of time at the links below. Keep reading for details!

Extended Evening Hours

July 29th - August 5th

Enjoy extended field and farm hours for a limited period during our season! The field will be open daily 9am - 8pm and our farm market will be open 9am - 8:30pm. This is a great time to plan those sunset photos!

Senior Discount Days in the Sunflowers

July 29th and August 5th

Seniors ages 55+ enjoy a special discount at the gate. Details are still being finalized.

Kids' Days in the Sunflowers

July 28th and August 4th

Kids ages 12 and under enjoy a special discount online only. Details are still being finalized.

Date Nights in the Sunflowers

July 29th through August 2nd (arrival time anytime after 5pm)

Our very popular date nights are packed with local flavor you won't want to miss! This package includes dinner and dessert for two people, plus tickets to our sunflower field. For $99 per couple, you get a picnic basket that you get to keep filled with a bunch of local flavor featured in our store and more! When purchasing this ticket, remember that this includes TWO (2) people. We limit each evening to less than 20 couples, so make sure you grab your tickets now. We are still finalizing our sandwich menu for the basket. Tickets will be available by April 15th.

Sunflower Paint 'n Sip Classes

This 2-hour class will turn you into a professional painter! Join Tannis from Art-Vark Studios Paint 'n Sip for this special sunflower-themed canvas painting class! For $45/person, you get professional step-by-step instruction on how to paint your canvas, all painting materials, admission to our sunflower field, and a coupon for a beverage of your choice and a donut to enjoy while painting! Friday, July 31st 6:00pm - 8:00pm

In this guided workshop, you’ll paint and assemble a stunning layered sunflower wood sign—featuring bold petals, rich fall-inspired tones, and a modern geometric backdrop that makes this piece truly stand out. You’ll customize your sign with your own color palette, whether you lean classic sunflower or add your own creative twist. No experience needed—this is a relaxed, beginner-friendly class with guidance available throughout, while still giving you plenty of room to make it your own. Mocktail Evening in the Sunflowers with Steve Weber and A&B Acai

Saturday, August 1st 5:00pm - 8:30pm

We are VERY excited to bring this event back for a second year, featuring "mocktails" (aka non-alcoholic, refreshing drinks), music, and food trucks! This event is open to everyone. Tickets are $24.00/person, and includes a wristband for samples of each drink throughout the sunflower field and 1 full mocktail drink. Your wristband is also good for $2 off additional drinks purchased through the night. Sit, relax, and enjoy music from Steve Weber and some delicious food from A&B Acai food truck. 4th Annual Donut Dash for the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin

Saturday, August 1st 8:00am (registration opens at 7:00am)

Do you like running? Do you like running so you can eat donuts at the finish line? What about running with your dog, then eating donuts, AND supporting a great local organization? We are partnering with the Humane Society of Southern Wisconsin for our 4th annual Donut Dash 5k or 1-mile run/walk on the farm. This is a fun, casual race where you can choose to run or walk (dogs definitely encouraged to come) through our sunflower field, on nearby roads, and around our strawberry beds. All participants will receive a bib with time tracking (thanks to Velocity Multi-Sport & Cycling), admission to our sunflower field, and an apple cider donut at the finish line. Skelly's will be donating a large portion of each ticket cost to the Humane Society PLUS $1 from each additional admission ticket for the entire day! Saturday, August 1st 10:00am - 12:00pm

Learn how to decorate sugar cookies like the professionals! All participants get 6 pre-baked sugar cookies and all decorating materials needed to create these beautiful sunflower-themed cookies to enjoy! This class is very beginner friendly and is best suited for ages 16+. Tickets are $45.00/person, and includes 6 pre-baked sugar cookies, all decorating materials, professional instruction, admission to the sunflower field, and a coupon for a beverage of your choice. ***NEW EVENT!*** Sunflower Crushed Glass Suncatcher Workshop

Saturday, August 1st 4:30pm - 6:30pm

Let the light shine through your creativity! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll design your very own dazzling suncatcher using crushed glass in vibrant colors, and resin to give a "fused glass" look. Our instructors will guide you step-by-step as you arrange your design and set it in place, creating a one-of-a-kind piece that glitters beautifully in the sun. Princesses in the Sunflowers

Sunday, August 2nd 10:00am - 12:30pm

We are SO happy to be able to bring this event back for a second year! We partnered with Parker Arts Academy, who will be bringing out several students in costume as some of your favorite recognizable princesses! Purchase the princess package and receive exclusive access to a trail in the sunflowers, where kids get to meet at least 3 different princesses, get a prize from each of them, get pictures with them, and end their trip with a special treat from our bakery. Create your very own unique doormat for your house! All participants will receive guided instruction on how to decorate a unique sunflower-themed doormat! All materials will be provided for you and this class is VERY beginner friendly! Bring a sunflower home with you in an adorable little planter made out of a rainboot! All participants will receive guided instruction on how to create a planter out of a rain boot! In this class, you'll get to decorate your rain boot and plant a dwarf sunflower in it!
