Fall Large Group Information

Bring your group out to Skelly’s for your fall outing! We are great for church youth groups, 4-H clubs, Scout groups, youth sports teams, family outings, company picnics, birthday parties, and much more! If you're looking to set up an outing, follow these simple steps:

  • Decide what day and time you'd like to come. The farm is open daily 9am - 6pm but all activities are not running daily. The corn mazes are open daily, wagon rides run all day on weekends and during the week at 4:15pm in October only, and the apple cannons are open weekends only. Wagon rides are available to be scheduled by appointment for groups of 30+ during the week.

  • Call the farm (608-757-1200) to schedule your visit

  • If your group is tax exempt, please email a completed S-211-SST form to farmers@skellysfarmmarket.com at least 48 hours before your visit to ensure a quick check-in. If you are unable to email it ahead of time, bring the form with you. We cannot remove the tax without having a completed form on file.

  • If you are all traveling separately, have your group meet at the "Group Meet-Up Point" that is located between the driveway and front pumpkin displays (look for the big sign).

  • When you're all ready to purchase tickets, send ONLY your group leader in to the barn and ask for a manager to pay for your tickets and pick up any ordered items. Please have the rest of your group wait outside so our barn doesn't get too crowded. The group leader must pay for everyone at the same time in order to qualify for group discount pricing.

  • After paying inside, distribute the wristbands for the activities and have fun!

If you want to pay for your group in advance, you may do so at any point. The person responsible for the payment will be given vouchers to hand out to each group member. The vouchers then get turned in by each person the day of the event in exchange for wristbands that will grant them admission to each activity. No refunds for extra purchased tickets.

Private Areas

DISCLAIMER: We are a retail farm targeting individuals and families visiting, but we can accommodate basic group visits as outlined above. Please note that we do not provide private spaces for rent, we do not allow decoration setup, and do not allow carry-in food. If eating food purchased from Skelly's Farm Market, we ask that groups kindly share picnic tables with our other guests. While our playground does not have an admission charge, we ask that any groups planning to enjoy the playground as part of their visit spend at least $5 per guest through other ticketing or product purchases to allow us to keep this resource at no charge for our community.

Fall Field Trips

As of fall 2020, we are no longer offering guided fall field trips on the farm so we can better manage the many aspects of an active, working farm. If you are looking to bring out a school group and do the activities listed above, you may do so.

A few things to note:

  • We do not offer educational programming; your visit will simply be partaking in our entertainment activities.

  • Schools are eligible for the group rates above starting at 15 people. Rates are per person for both children and adults attending. Smaller groups are welcome to attend at general admission rates.

  • Wagon rides are only offered to the public on weekends and Friday afternoons from 12-5 on the hour. If you want to schedule a wagon ride at a different time, you may do so if your group has 30+ people. Due to staffing, we do not offer rides for groups smaller than 30 people, but you are welcome to coordinate in advance with another school to combine your trips.

  • Pumpkin availability depends on supply. A baby bear or pie pumpkin is generally a good size for young students.

  • Donuts are available by the dozen ($12/dozen) for a snack. While we can offer prepackaged beverages at our normal rates, schools visiting Monday-Friday are welcome to bring their own beverage for a snack. We currently do not have drinking fountains available.

  • Our playground is available for use during your visit. While our playground does not have an admission charge, we ask that any groups planning to enjoy the playground as part of their visit spend at least $5 per guest through other ticketing or product purchases to allow us to keep this resource at no charge for our community.

  • As stated above, all activities have Wisconsin sales tax. See above for tax-exempt information and procedures on the day of your visit to make your check-in go smoothly.
