Escape Room Maze 2026 Theme: Deserted Island Escape
Our “Classic” Maze gets a brand-new theme every year — and in 2026, we’re stuck on a deserted island! As you wind your way through the maze, you’ll be on a mission to help Sofiee and her Squashee friends collect hidden clues and crack the code to escape. Keep your eyes open — every turn brings you closer to freedom! And here’s the twist: this isn’t just a maze…it’s the only corn maze anywhere with a real escape room built right in. Solve the puzzle, unlock a real door, and make your great escape!
With just over 2 miles of trails across 6 acres (don’t worry — you’d have to be really talented at getting lost to walk all of it), this adventure is perfect for all ages. Little explorers will love the hunt, but teens and adults can level up the challenge with our one-of-a-kind smartphone app. Take on 6 advanced escape puzzles for a full escape-room experience — without the big-city escape-room price tag. This maze grows with you, so whether you’re 7 or 47, you’re in for an unforgettable adventure!
The Impossible Maze 2026

"That's not a maze...that's just a bunch of paths!" Do not be fooled; this will be one of the hardest corn maze adventures you can attempt! The exit isn't the challenge, it's what's inside this 9 acre maze with 4 miles of trails.
Digital gaming enters the physical world in this game Animal Pals: Country Fair. After you select your cute baby farm animal, it's your job to feed fruits and vegetables hidden in the maze by scanning QR codes. Watch your animal grow in the app, and find hidden power-ups along the way. Find all 16 checkpoints and you could be the Fair Grand Champion! But don't get too confident; less than 5% of players can find them all. Good luck!
Play our Award-Winning Maze Games

At 29 years of corn mazes and counting (making us one of the longest running corn mazes in the world), we work hard to make sure our corn mazes go beyond the experience you can find anywhere else. Our in-house maze designer Scott has been a computer and puzzle nerd forever, so we don't settle for the ordinary.
We have custom built apps for both of our mazes to create games that are easy to learn, fun to play, and hard enough that even adults will need some hints along the way. Plus, we invented the first customer GPS for corn mazes, and it's capabilities are beyond what any other corn maze offers today. Because of our unique maze and wagon ride technology, we were honored to be the 2025 winners of the Wisconsin Governor's Innovation in Tourism Award.
A Perfect Fall Day Out for ALL Ages!

Both of our mazes are kid-friendly, but our games adapt to you to make them a blast for adults and any visitors without kids! We always recommend families with kids start with the Escape Room Maze, but both mazes are always included with your admission if you are up to the challenge. If you want to experience everything, most groups take around 2 hours to finish both mazes.
Don't forget that once you work up an appetite, head to our bakery for some treats, hot chocolate to warm you up, and do your fall shopping.

Designing and Cutting our Corn Mazes Over the Years
Our corn mazes started in 1998 when most people had never heard the term "corn maze" before. In fact, we were one of the first 50 corn mazes in the country. What started as 3/4 of an acre has grown to 15 acres of fun stretching over 2 acres.

Our mazes have always been unique in that we design and cut the mazes ourselves. Scott Skelly designed the first maze at age nine, and has produced almost 50 mazes for our farm since then. For the first eight years, all the mazes were drawn on graph paper and transferred into the field by counting rows. The first year we cut out all the corn with a hoe, but after that we began using a roto-tiller. In 2006, Scott used GPS for the first time on our farm to cut our maze, and for about 15 years he ran a sister company designing mazes for farms across the country. He's cut well over 100 mazes stretching from Maryland to Colorado, but today our farm is his sole focus.
In 2012 in the early years of smartphones, Scott found a way to take the GPS enabled maps he used for cutting the mazes on our farm and make them available to visitors walking the maze to see their live position. It was rough the first year, but by the following year visitors we able to do this right from their web browser. We then tweaked our custom software more, and now we were able to cut the mazes with our own software designed specifically for mazes connected to our own GPS.
Today the mazes are cut with a zero turn mower, and cutting is much like a video game. The driver sees the maze map, and drives keeping the dot on the line. Every path is carefully cut through the skill of the driver. While we have now done that for 20 years, in 2026 we did something we've never done before and planted the design into the field! With the help of our awesome neighbors, the Rebouts, we uploaded our design into their software, and while out planting in May, their planter was programmed to shut off when going over paths. This way, we saved money on seed, and saved a TON of time by not having to mow down the paths! Technology can be a great thing!

Our digital games were added in 2021, and we believe these have been a game changer for our maze. Our escape room maze is unlike anything offered elsewhere featuring our unique Squashee characters created by our team. Each year features a brand new story, completely new puzzles, and that real door to escape out the exit. We're proud how these puzzle work for both families who just want to walk in a maze right though to adults that want a very tough challenge! Plus, our Impossible Maze brings the fun of group gaming into the real world without needing to stare at the phone the entire time. Our ability to add checkpoints to your map dynamically during the game in the Impossible Maze was another leap forward in truly interactive experiences.

We're passionate about creating truly fun and unique experiences. Our mazes take over a month of planning in the winter to create the designs, games, artwork, signage, and puzzles, but we believe our attention to detail is worth it. We love hearing visitors exiting the mazes comparing times, high scores, or challenging puzzles. That sense of mystery as you unlock the door is amazing. We love having fun, and we hope you'll join us to experience that fun with your family and friends.
