WHAT TO EXPECT AT OUR FARM IN FALL 2020

Our farm will look a lot different this fall since we are taking as many precautions as we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19. If you've visited us before, you'll want to read all the information on this page to get an idea of what to expect while visiting this year.

Weekdays in the Fall

Important Highlights: No school field trips. Corn mazes still open! Plenty of pumpkins to pick!

Our weekdays will not be changing quite as much as the weekends. We don't expect to have large weekend-level crowds during the week, so our available activities and shopping will remain the same. Here's what you can do at our farm Monday through Friday:

  • Both corn mazes are now open daily 9am - 6pm with last tickets sold at 5pm.

  • There will be no group discounts for the corn maze this year because we are trying to limit group sizes. All guests wishing to do the mazes will pay normal retail price of $8/person (3 and under free).

  • Our retail barn will be open daily 9am - 6pm where you can purchase bakery items, gifts, packaged foods, apples, apple cider and more. Face coverings are required when shopping in our store. Please leave your strollers and wagons parked outside in a designated stroller parking area while shopping.

  • Our retail barn does not have indoor seating anymore. We have eliminated this to help keep guests more spread out while shopping. There will be seating available outside only.

  • The pumpkin patch will be open daily 9am - 6pm so you can pick out the perfect pumpkin. We will also have plenty on display in front of our retail barn if you don't want to walk to the patch behind the playground.

  • Our playground will be open daily 9am - 6pm. Starting late September, we will have our playground area fenced off in case we have to start limiting the number of guests in the area at once. We are not sure if we'll need to implement this as of now, but we are taking it into consideration as fall progresses and we get busier.

  • Facility rentals for birthday parties or any other events are not being accepted this year. We have also implemented a no carry-in food policy on our grounds. To keep group size to a minimum and to prevent the sharing of small spaces, we have decided this is the safest option. We hope to take reservations for parties again in 2021.

  • Janesville Public Schools are not allowing field trips this year, so we have made the decision to discontinue our fall field trips for the 2020 season for all schools, including canceling homeschool field trip days. We hope to offer field trips again during the 2021 season.

Weekends in the Fall

Important Highlights: No wagon rides or apple cannons. Our bakery will be moved outside under a tent next to the playground. No lunch food items. Corn mazes still open! Plenty of pumpkins to pick!

Our weekends will look a lot different compared to other years. Here's what you can expect on Saturdays and Sundays:

  • Both corn mazes are now open daily 9am - 6pm with last tickets sold at 5pm.

  • Wagon rides and the apple cannons will not be operating this year.

  • Our retail barn will be open daily 9am - 6pm where you can purchase gifts, packaged foods, apples, apple cider and more. Face coverings are required when shopping in our store. Please leave your strollers and wagons outside in a designated stroller parking area while shopping inside.

  • Our bakery operation will be moved outside under a tent next to the playground. There will not be any food served out of the retail barn. Please read the section below about the bakery to see what will be for sale, as items will be a little more limited.

  • Our lunch food trailer will not be operating this year, and we have implemented a no carry-in food policy on our grounds. If you are coming from a distance and would like a place to eat a picnic lunch or carry-out food from a local establishment, consider Rockport Park or the many Janesville and Beloit parks in the area.
