GREAT GOURD
GALLOP (Ages 3-6): Two 75 -Yard Gallops through the pumpkin patch (one
sprint and one gourd gathering contest)
or do the
SCARECROW
SCRAMBLE (Ages 7-12)
A ¾ mile run winding throughout the farm

Skelly’s Farm Market (Rain or Shine)
Great Gourd Gallop 3:30 pm
Scarecrow Scramble approx 3:45 (follows Great Gourd Gallop)
Awards and Giveaways:
Prizes will be awarded to the
top three finishers of the Scarecrow Scramble. Top male and female
runner of the Great Gourd Gallop will receive a prize. All Great Gourd
Gallop participants will be able to take home their gathered gourds. All
participants of both races will receive event t-shirt, 1 ticket to both
corn mazes and the wagon ride, and a coupon for a free donut.
Registration Fee (both races):
Prior to September
22nd: $15 for first child ($10 per additional sibling). Those
registering by September 22nd will be guaranteed a t-shirt the day of
the race. (Sorry No Refunds)
September 23rd-Day of Race: $18 for
first child (13 per additional sibling). Late registrations are welcome;
however, t-shirts will need to be ordered and picked up after race date.

Come for
the race and stay for our other fantastic festivities including our corn mazes, wagon rides,
and pumpkin
patch. Come early and watch the Optimist
Club Duck Race on our creek at 2:30. Our kitchen will also be open and featuring our donuts, apple
treats, and other lunch items such as hot dogs and barbeque sandwiches.

The 2008 contestants
Register Online:

without needing an account. Read the disclaimer below, and then
fill out a registration for each child. Your address and phone
number will be collected upon checkout.

As a signing parent or legal
guardian, I state that my child is in proper physical condition
to participate in this (or these) event(s). I know that running,
and exercise is a potentially hazardous activity and should not
be entered unless medically able. I agree to abide by any
decision of a program director relative to the ability to safely
compete the program. I assume all risks associated with
participation in this event, including but not limited to falls,
contact with other participants, the effects of weather,
including extreme temperatures and humidity, traffic and the
conditions of the trails and track, all such risks being known
and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver, and knowing
these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I,
and anyone entitled to race on my behalf, hereby waive and
release Skelly’s Farm Market from all claims or liabilities of
any kind arising out of participation in this event.
