Nighttime Corn Maze
Get lost in the dark! Skelly's is opening the corn maze at night this fall. On 10 nights this October, you can put your navigation skills to the test and try to find your way through our hardest Impossible Maze ever. But don't worry about getting too lost: the morning cleaning crew will find you if you are not out by sunrise. Being lost in a cornfield all night can't be that bad, can it?
Nighttime Corn Maze Prices
$6.00 nighttime admission
Please note: The nighttime corn maze is separate from all daytime activities. If you are visiting Skelly's during our normal daytime hours, both corn maze entrances close at 5 pm daily, and you must be out by closing time at 6 pm. All attractions and sales areas close at 6 pm sharp. The nighttime maze will open at 6:30 pm. All guests remaining at the farm must move to our parking lot until we reopen at 6:30.
What to Know About the Nighttime Corn Maze
When is the nighttime maze open? It is open every Friday and Saturday night in October, plus two Sunday nights. The night maze opens at 6:30 pm. (Please note that all areas of the farm close at 6 pm, and the maze reopens at 6:30). Last person enters the maze at 10 pm and everyone must be out at 11 pm. On Sunday nights (October 21 & 28), last entry will be at 9 pm and everyone must be out by 10 pm.
Is the maze haunted at night? No, even with our nighttime maze we will continue to keep our farm fun for the whole family. The maze is more challenging at night, and some younger guests may be slightly spooked by the darkness. Attempting to scare guests by jumping out or spooking them, even if they are part of your group, is not allowed. We do not want the maze to be scary for guests who only want a nighttime adventure.
The Impossible Maze looks really hard. What if I don't make it out? We have never had anyone take more than two days to get through The Impossible Maze, so you should be fine. Just kidding. Most visitors take 45 minutes to an hour to navigate the maze, although it is not uncommon for people to come out the entrance or not find all the checkpoints. If you are concerned about getting too lost, make sure you bring your cell phone so you can call the corn cop rescue line if needed.
How much does it cost to go through the maze at night? Admission is $6. Special rates may apply. Once you exit the night maze you will not be allowed to re-enter.
Are both mazes open at night? Only our Impossible Maze is open at night.
What other activities are available at night? The corn maze is currently the only activity that will be offered at night. Besides our ticket booth and parking lot, all other areas of our farm including the playground, pumpkin patch, wagon rides, kitchen, and gift barn are off-limits at night. Portable bathrooms are available.
What if I get hungry? Is food available? Limited supplies of donuts and other baked goods will be available in grab and go containers. Our kitchen is not open at night to serve special orders or coffee. A limited selection of canned soda is also available. On cool nights we also may have hot cider available.
What can I bring to the maze? No bags of any type including purses and backpacks will be allowed in the maze. Outside food and beverage is not allowed in the maze. Alcohol and tobacco products are prohibited on our farm. However, you are welcome to bring a flashlight because it can be pretty dark on a cloudy or moonless night. Glow sticks and light sticks are available for purchase. And don't forget to bring a readiness to get lost!
Are groups welcome at night? Yes! Groups of 15+ can purchase tickets for $5. Or, come by 5:30 and your group can get a wagon ride before venturing into the corn maze for a low price of $6.50. Please call ahead to schedule your group.
Are there any special discounts? Yes, yes, and yes! Almost every weekend has a special theme. Please note that most of these specials also apply during the day on the corresponding weekend.
