Growing Quality Produce Since 1989

Janesville, WI     (608) 757-1200

Employment

Throughout the season, Skelly’s has homegrown strawberries, sweet corn, tomatoes, and several other vegetables that are sold at the farm and at our roadside stands. This means that we need lots of help picking and selling the produce. If you are responsible, trustworthy, flexible, supportive, work well with others and on your own, AND enjoy working outdoors, then SKELLY’S FARM MARKET IS FOR YOU!

Skelly’s is a place that people visit because it is fun. But it wouldn't be fun without a fun and friendly staff. To us, a welcoming employee is more than just a smile; it’s a personality. Therefore, we need people who are truly excited to be working here. Our current staff will tell you that they come back year after year because they truly enjoy being here. If that sounds like something that YOU can do too, then Skelly’s might be just the place for you.

Skelly’s Farm Market has 3 unique seasons. Strawberry, Sweet Corn and Fall. We often combine the Strawberry and Sweet Corn seasons for spring hiring and do a second round of hiring for our Fall season. We appreciate the individual who is able to work all three seasons but do not limit employability if it is not possible to work in the fall. Individuals hired for the Strawberry and Sweet Corn seasons would be expected to work from the start of strawberries through Labor Day weekend*. We are open 7 days a week and you can expect to work a variety of shifts throughout the WHOLE week, weekdays and weekends. The Fall season is very short: middle of September through October 31st, so we need people that are able to work the majority of these 7 weeks. Weekend availability IS NECESSARY for students, and we also hire for weekday daytime shifts.

Below is a brief listing of job requirements for each season. Please note that job duties will include but not be limited to those listed.

Current Status

2017 applications will be available starting in mid-March. Fill out the form at the bottom of the page to receive an email when applications are available.
