Established in 1845 & 1989
Since the Skelly family
began farming in the Janesville area more
than 150 years ago, they have raised most of
the traditional regional animals and crops
from cows and corn to sows and soybeans. But
when 5th generation farmer Tom Skelly
planted four rows of sweet corn around his
house in 1989 to help his three kids save
for college, he never imagined that the
Skelly farm would see such dramatic changes
in the next twenty years.
Today, the Skelly's are no
longer dairy farmers, but their dairy barn
is still filled with lots of excitement as it
holds the retails store, bakery, and gift
shop for Skelly's Farm Market. Skelly's is
one of the largest providers of fresh
produce in Southern Wisconsin that is sold
directly to the consumers. Joe and Scott are
now a part of the operation making the sixth
generation to farm in this area. With three
seasons including strawberries, summer, and
fall, there is always excitement at Skelly's
Farm Market.

Group Information:
Tours are available to Motor Coach groups and
other groups of at least 15 people. The store
and gift shop are open to any group during
business hours.
Tours may include any of these choices:
Presentation covering the history of the
farm and information about Skelly's unique
business, shopping time in the produce store
and gift shop, pre-ordered snacks from the
bakery, on-farm Wisconsin Foods
lunch featuring mostly area products with a
short description of these products from
host, and catered lunch options. Other
activities are available upon request such as
corn maze, wagon rides, and more.
Please note that Skelly's seasons are
very diverse and options vary throughout
these seasons. Visit Skelly's website or call

VISA, and MasterCard.
Group Reservations are required by calling
(608) 757-1200.
Facilities include two handicap accessible
bathrooms. Gift store, bakery, and small
seating are all wheelchair accessible.
Motor coach parking is available.
Directions:
From Interstate 90 take Exit 177 (Hwy 11
West). Go west five miles and turn left on
Hanover Road. Turn left again on Hayner
Road. Skelly's is on the left in 1.5 miles.
Enter the gravel driveway. (Bus driver note:
Skelly's is located before the 5 ton bridge,
so disregard the bridge notice on Hayner
Road if coming from the north). Visit our
