Video series gives inside look at our farm
April 28, 2010 @ 8:31 AM

Food is a lot more fun to eat when you know a little more about it. We have many tools such as Facebook, Twitter, and more that we use to share information, but we want to expand this even more. Therefore, we are now producing our own online series of videos titled Skelly's Farm Market: Up Close. As we do our work this summer, we will take our video camera around the farm and show you what is happening. We will show you things such as how we plant different crops, how to pick strawberries, and teach about what we do to make our produce so good compared to that stuff you buy in the grocery store.

To view all of our current episodes, go to our videos page. Make sure you keep checking back because a lot more videos will be posted throughout the summer. You can also get videos to your RSS feed by subscribing to our YouTube page

October 20, 2009 @ 2:48 PM

Thank you to all of our customers who brought food to the farm during our food drive at Skelly's Pumpkin Fest 2009! We collected lots of items that will be helpful to local families through ECHO of Janesville and Caritas of Beloit. We appreciate the generosity of our customers. Please continue to support our local community through the many programs available.

How are corn mazes made?
September 30, 2009 @ 6:39 AM

One of the most popular questions we get about own two corn mazes is "How did you make that?" That same question was asked by a Channel 3 viewer from Madison. So, the team from WISC-3 came down to Janesville and talked to our very own Scott Skelly about how corn mazes are made. Check out the story.

Both of Skelly's corn mazes are open 9-6 daily. The 'Lost in Space' Maze is designed for families and has some fun scarecrows to guide visitors through the maze. 'The Impossible Maze' is designed for those who are up for more walking and quite a challenge. The admission of $6 gets visitors into one or both mazes. For more information, visit http://www.skellysfarmmarket.com/maze.shtml or call 608-757-1200.
